Caroline Brown

Caroline joined Starford in 2018. An employment lawyer with substantial experience advising on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law, Caroline spent many years at two City law firms and has particular expertise in large scale strategic reorganisations, multi-national corporate transactions, executive negotiations and disputes, complex grievances, discrimination and whistleblowing claims, as well as delivering in-house training programmes. Her client base spans a number of business sectors including professional services, financial institutions, charitable foundations, start-ups, and sporting organisations.

Caroline brings a commercial and strategic approach to the increasing array of employment issues that clients face. Starford enables her to build close working relationships with clients at affordable rates, so that she can work alongside clients as part of their team. Caroline enjoys being able to understand a client’s working culture more closely and implement solutions together.

In her spare time, Caroline sits on the governing body of a school and has a particular responsibility for safeguarding.
