Angharad Percy

Paralegal

I am a qualified solicitor who has worked as an Associate at a traditional law firm in the Commercial Litigation Department and then as a Senior Litigation Solicitor at a retail bank.

During these roles I managed and advised on all aspects of general litigation matters including Director, Shareholder and Partnership disputes, professional negligence claims, injunctions, defamation/reputation management claims, Judicial Reviews and insolvency/debt recovery matters.

Following a career break to have two children and having also worked as a volunteer at Cruse Bereavement UK during this time, I took the opportunity to return to University and obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. I subsequently set up my own private therapy practice which I run for part of the week and where I work with individuals who bring a range of issues.

Working as a consultant Paralegal at Starford gives me the flexibility to continue to put to use my legal skills acquired over a number of years and fulfils the part of me that enjoys working in the legal profession.  I bring an understanding of the complexities of all aspects of the litigation process, which means I can provide colleagues and clients with a high level of support with regard to the preparation and management of Tribunal claims as well as appropriate support when required in non-contentious matters.

When not working or looking after children, I love running on the South Downs and feel very lucky to live between the sea and the hills!
